陳明章，年輕時接觸西洋音樂，從披頭四到鮑伯狄倫，常常拿著一把吉他就自學自彈唱著，在那時臺灣戒嚴封閉的社會風氣中，沈浸在音樂裡的他感受到快樂與自由，因此立志成為音樂人。後來，遇見了陳達的月琴吟唱深受感動，決定回頭踏尋臺灣土地，認識這塊土地傳唱的歌謠樂音，於是環臺拜師學藝傳統戲曲音樂，融會貫通於創作上，寫出了許多屬於臺灣自己的音樂與故事??。 邀請您一起進入陳明章的內心和生活，在他的創作歷程中從國際電影配樂一直到歌曲、舞臺劇等等的音樂產出心路歷程，同時也在片中的一首首歌曲中感受到臺灣的從戒嚴到解嚴，從專制到民主的社會氛圍演進，一起流動搖曳結合在時代與社會的氛圍裡，連結著我們的對於臺灣這片土地的共同記憶。
