雙目失明的鋼琴家阿卡什（阿尤斯曼·庫拉納 Ayushmann Khurrana 飾）為了參加國際大賽，平日里通過私人授課賺取經費。事實上他的眼睛完全正常，只不過希望通過這種方式感受不同的生活。因為一場意外，阿卡什結識了美麗的姑娘蘇菲（拉迪卡·艾普特 Radhika Apte 飾）。憑借出色的演奏技巧，阿卡什在蘇菲父親經營的西餐館謀得兼職。他的演奏不僅令食客們傾倒，更虜獲了蘇菲的心。某天，阿卡什接受過氣的影星普拉默（安爾·德霍萬 Anil Dhawan 飾）的邀請，登門為對方的妻子西米（塔布 Tabu 飾）演奏慶生，誰知卻親眼目睹了倒在血泊中的普拉默的尸體。驚慌失措的阿卡什假裝鎮定，雖然暫時騙過了西米及其情夫，但是他的秘密還是慢慢被人戳穿…… 本片改編自2010年的同名法國高分懸疑短片。
