影片在希伯來語片名Kirot是“墻”的意思，意指片中兩位女主人公從素不相識，隔墻交流，直至最終走到一起，一個要擺脫當地黑幫的控制、去俄羅斯與小女兒團聚，一個為了反抗有嚴重虐待傾向的丈夫，兩個女人為理想和生存而戰，儼然一部新版《末路狂花》。 幕后制作 影片由以色列、法國、美國合拍，片中對白以英語為主，還有希伯來語和俄語。執導本片的是以色列導演丹尼·勒納，畢業于特拉維夫大學電影系的他曾在2005年拍攝了處女作《夢魘》，其作品充滿復雜的社會元素及深層的心理描寫，成為以色列新生代導演中的佼佼者，并在國際影壇暫露頭角，《危墻》是他的第二部電影。
