老韓頭（黃宗洛）從京劇院看大門的崗位退休后，生活極其茫然。一天，他在街頭轉悠時結識有些呆傻的何明，何明看他無聊，就帶他去看公園圍墻下一群退休老票友唱戲，因為在京劇院多年的耳濡目染，老韓頭說了些頗為專業的話，令大伙對其特別佩服，自此，老韓頭與這些老票友交上了朋友，并興致勃勃地辦起了老年京劇活動站，做起了站長。 為參加春節廟會，活動站大伙日以繼夜地趕排節目，不為拿大獎，圖的是個可樂。過程中老韓頭熱心過度，又因在考勤等方面要求異常嚴格，漸漸引起大伙的不滿，最終一齊向他爆發。聽著大伙你一言我一語的指責，老韓頭氣得一臉鐵青卻又不置可否，摔門而出在大街上亂轉了一通后，他又不知不覺回到了活動站。
