正值32歲厄年的空姐相澤美晴（竹內結子 飾）同然接到人事調動的通知，她將即將前往新成立的航空公司Cherry任職。Cherry是一家以LCC（廉價航空）為理念創立航空公司，顧名思義，該公司以低成本和低票價為主要奮斗目標，勢要在航空業低價格大戰的時代搶占先機。令相澤大為震驚的是，包括她在內，公司僅由社長星（船越英一郎 飾）以及負責公司大小事務的主管加茂川隆（向井理 飾）三人組成，隨后他們又招收了厭煩前后輩關系的就職浪人倉持友花（桐谷美玲 飾）、來自鄉下的護士夏本優希（加藤愛 飾）、年過半百的出租車司機一宮惠子（宮崎美子 飾）等全然沒有任何經驗的女性接受空乘人員培訓。 高傲的相澤對于LCC體制下的種種做法全然不能接受，在彼此相互碰撞過程中，她和同伴們的心境卻一點點地改變，終于他們迎來了Cherry航班首航的那一天……
