來自臺灣的青年海生（李乾銘 飾）深受二戰時期日本軍國主義思想的影響，滿腔熱忱的加入了日本特別縱隊奔赴大陸參戰。但是，當他親眼目睹了日軍殘殺中國平民的暴行后，他卻一心只想逃回家鄉。在回鄉的路上，海生遇到寧毓（顏丹晨 飾）等四個女孩 。迫于無奈，海生答應送她們去已被占領的南京城。一路上，海生不僅要保護著寧毓四人，還要躲避特別縱隊隊長山本一郎的追殺，最后，四個女孩中只有有著日本血統的櫻子活了下來。當櫻子也看清了日本軍人的真實面目后，海生決定奮力掩護櫻子突出日軍的重圍……
