亮（吉岡秀隆飾）與家里的父親發生了沖突，離家旅行到一個小鎮，遇到了一家影院的經理活男（西田敏行飾），并留了下來工作，在影院工作的還有放映師常先生（田中邦衛飾），并認識了開咖啡店的八重子（田中裕子飾）。活男一直喜歡八重子，可惜后來終未能如愿，八重子離開了小鎮。
