消防員亞健（鐘鎮濤 飾）從一場大火之中救出了已故女星亞玲（鄭裕玲 飾）的牌位，亞玲顯靈決心報答亞健，卻反而連累亞健遭到了消防局的開除，淪為無業游民。亞健找到了自封居士的哥哥亞源（午馬 飾），亞源在誤打誤撞之中招來了女鬼亞花（黎燕珊 飾），亞花竟然愛上了亞源。 一場意外之中，亞健見到了現身的亞玲，誤以為亞玲是平凡女子，墜入了情網，同樣愛上了亞健的亞玲隱瞞了自己的真實身份。亞花的戀情遭到亞玲的阻撓，一怒之下將亞玲是女鬼的消息告訴了亞源。得知身份暴露的亞玲選擇了離開，可直到此時亞健才發現，自己已經無法離開亞玲了。
