Award-winning director Elaine Constantine has recently completed filming her first feature-length film Northern Soul, with an intended cinematic release in Spring Summer 2013. The film tells the tale of two Northern boys whose worlds are changed forever when they discover black American soul music. Northern Soul was phenomenally popular with British youths in the 1970s, taking the North of the country by storm. 紀錄片講的是讓5名中國老師在英國南部漢普郡的一所中學實施4周中國式教學試驗的故事。 中國式教學的特點是嚴厲，時間長。中國學生在一些知名的國際考試中總是名列前茅。 但是，用中國的教學方法來教育英國的中學生可行嗎？參加試驗的老師和學生又是怎么想的呢？他們有什么體會？ 首先，作為試驗的一部分，中國老師接管了一個由50名學生組成的9年級的班。 這些學生在四個星期的時間里，要穿統一的校服，每天早上7點到校，在校時間長達12個小時，中間有兩次吃飯休息時間。每周還要舉行一次升中國國旗的儀式。 而課堂上主要以記筆記為主。同時，還要參加集體練習。學生們還要負責打掃教室等。
